WELCOME TO EASTERN VISAYAS, a region composed of the enchanting islands of Biliran, Leyte and Samar.

The region has a unique niche in Philippine history. Two of the country’s major historical events took place in Eastern Visayas. Ferdinand Magellan from the Western world first set foot in the East at the island of Homonhon in the southeastern tip of the Samar Island. The liberation of the Asia-Pacific region by the Allied Forces under General Douglas Macarthur during World War II initially took place in the shoreline of Candahug, Palo, Leyte.

Samar Island, composed of the provinces of Samar, Northern Samar and Eastern Samar is a mysterious pacific paradise which features geological monuments, powerful rapids, lush rainforests, awesome caves, healing springs, crisscrossing rivers and valleys, and untamed waves.

Leyte Island, composed of the provinces of Leyte and Southern Leyte beckons adventurers to its intriguing dive sites, sharks, whales and frolicking dolphins, challenging nature trails, sandy beaches, marvelous peaks, historical landmarks and cultural sites.

Biliran, an island frontier at the northwestern tip of Leyte is a refreshing island fortress endowed by Nature with tempting clear waters, graceful waterfalls, hot springs, spectacular islets and credited by seafarers as having the world’s sweetest water.

The cuisine of the region will appeal to the discriminating taste of gourmets since only the freshest seafood and the organic produce of the fields are ingredients to the region’s dishes handed down from the simple taste of early generations.

Tacloban City, its regional capital is a happy mix of rustic and rural ambience with the amenities of modern technology.

Above all, the natural charm and warmth of its people will leave indelible marks on your dream vacation and will weave a spell on your wandering hearts.

Allow us to treat and pamper you at least once in your lifetime.
